In Bahía de La Paz, located in the municipality of the same name, we work to restore marine life with innovative, community-based techniques.

OBJECTIVE. Restore and conserve the marine life of the Bay of La Paz with citizen participation and artificial reef innovation.

GOVERNANCE. Creation of the La Paz Bay Council made up of federal, state and municipal government authorities, as well as local fishermen, academics and civil society.

ELABORATE. Management plan with the active participation of the fishing communities within the bay. 

DIALOGUE. Develop skills for generative dialogue, collaborative negotiation and systems thinking to enhance collaboration.

EXPAND. Collaborative actions of the authorities and the community towards a shared vision.

VISION. Extend marine life conservation and restoration with innovation to the five states surrounding the Gulf of California.
